History

1971 September 1 Joji Otsuka established a private firm as Otsuka diemaking in Higashi-Osaka city.
1974 March 10 Relocated to Osaka city for business expansion.
1979 February 1 Incorporated Otsuka dieboard CO.,LTD. by increasing the capital 4,800,000 Yen.
Joji Otsuka is appointed as President.
1982 April 15 Established SOEI as an affiliated company to promote G-Tape.
1985 July 14 Relocated to DAITO city for expanding the productions.
1986 October 1 Increased the capital to 15,000,000 Yen.
1988 July 1 Incorporated DAISO CO., LTD. by integrating Otsuka dieboard CO., LTD. and SOEI.
1988 October 1 Increased the capital to 24,000,000 Yen.
1991 April 13 The 1st diecutting technical seminar (attended by 50 people 30 companies).
1991 September 1 The 20th Anniversary (attended by 80guests).
1993 December 15 Increased the capital to 36,000,000 Yen.
1994 March 1 Opened Kyushu factory.
1996 September 1 Opened Kanagawa factory.
The 25th Anniversary.
2000 September 1 GS department relocated to the new location to expand G-tape productions.
2001 May 1 Opened Tokyo factory.
2005 June 1 Opened Chubu office.
2006 September 1 Head office and GS department relocated to the new location.
2006 September 8 The 35th Anniversary.
2009 October 1 Osaka factory relocated to the new location for production expansion.
2011 June 3 The 40th Anniversary.
2011 July 1 Masakazu Otsuka is appointed as President.
2012 June 21 Kanagawa factory relocated to the new location for production expansion.
2013 March 3 DAISO was given the award.
Kansai area IT(Information Technology) 100 Company Award
2014 January 1 Redesigned corporate logo.
2015 November 20 Chubu office relocated to the new location.
2017 September 29 DAISO was given the award.
Osaka Manufacturing Best-in-Class Award 2017
2022 April 15 Capital alliance with TDS CO., LTD.
